CaspianEdge is Niko’s third founded venture in more than a decade of entrepreneurship, shaped by a career spent building businesses, managing complex programs, and solving operational problems where facilities, data, and technology intersect.
Trained as a construction engineer with a mechanical engineering foundation, Niko built his systems expertise independently. Without formal IT training, he developed deep capability in IBM Maximo, CMMS administration, enterprise workflows, data governance, reporting, and facilities technology, then applied that expertise at Johns Hopkins University, helping modernize its Maximo environment and improve the way facilities operations are managed across assets, preventive maintenance, inspections, service requests, technician workflows, and operational data.
His work is defined by range. Niko has operated across military installations, universities, ports, data centers, public-sector facilities, and international capital portfolios, giving him a practical understanding of both the built environment and the systems that keep it running.
